A Letter to the Indian Ministry of Agriculture

Huseyin Arslan, President of the Global Pulse Confederation (GPC), and Jaine Chisholm Caunt, Director General of the Grain and Feed Trade Association (GAFTA), sent a letter to the Indian Ministry of Agriculture requesting an extension of the derogation on the requirement on the use of Methyl Bromide on imports of agricultural commodities.

The letter also asks if results from studies undertaken on efficacy of alternative solutions such as phosphine are available.
