IPGA Knowledge Series – Origin: Myanmar
India Pulses and Grains Association (IPGA) recently signed an MoU with the India Myanmar Chamber of Commerce (IMCC) to establish a framework for cooperation aimed at contributing to sustainable socio-economic development through increased competitiveness and trade, improved business environment, and to be used as a basis for the formulation and implementation of technical cooperation projects, specifically in the pulses sector.
IPGA and IMCC’s will aim to work together towards Increasing enterprise and sector competitiveness; Capacity building in trade intelligence, market analysis and research; Strengthening of trade support networks in India and Myanmar; Promoting trade and
business linkages between India and Myanmar; and Improving the business environment and support to trade policy formulation.
As the first initiative towards achieving the objectives of the MoU, IPGA and IMCC have joined hands to host a webinar to present an overview of the pulses scenario in both, Myanmar and India. The webinar will be held on FRIDAY, JULY 9TH, 2021 FROM 2 PM TO 3 PM (IST) which will be 3 PM TO 4 PM (MMT). The webinar will cover the key pulses TUR, URAD and MOONG in the webinar and the speakers will be domain experts from Myanmar and India.
